Happy Friyay fam!!

Today’s a truly special day for us because we’ve been recognized as one of the Top 10 Black Christian Blogs on the web by Feedspot! It’s honestly a surreal moment and one that my team and I certainly were not expecting. Thank you Feedspot for the recognition!

What it basically means is that, we are one of the Best Black Christian Blogs online based on the following criteria:

  • Google reputation and Google search ranking
  • Influence and popularity on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites
  • Quality and consistency of posts
  • Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review

I couldn’t let this big news go by without us sharing it with you and thanking you for your continued support. The fact that you have become a part of our family and religiously read and share our posts is one of the biggest reasons we received this award. I say this because I’ve made it my intention to allow bAw to grow organically – very minimal paid ads and we don’t badger anyone to like or follow us. We share in the hopes that just one soul will be blessed. So it warms my heart to know that there are many who engage us of their own free will.

Most importantly, we have to give all glory and honour to God! He’s the reason that bAw exists in the first place and He’s our Manager in terms of everything we do. So this is yet another reminder that He’s leading and using us.

Please do continue to pray with and for this movement. As this honour indicates, we work tirelessly to ensure that every black African woman out there sees herself right – through Christ’s eyes. We hope that you’ll continue to form part of our journey and do let us know how we can best serve you by filling out our Contact tab or emailing us at theblackafricanwoman@gmail.com.

Wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead lady!

With love,
